What is Environmental Controls System?
Environmental Controls System is a system that is designed to monitor and control various environmental factors in a building, such as temperature, humidity, air quality and lighting. An automated window or door is a type of window that can be opened and closed automatically, typically using a motorized mechanism.

It can be used as part of a strategy to control ventilation and improve indoor air quality (IAQ). For example, ECS may be programmed open the windows during times when outdoor air quality is good in order to increase the air change to improve the indoor. The system can also be programmed to adjust the opening and closing of windows based on temperature, humidity levels and outdoor weather such as wind, rain, air quality, to ensure that the indoor environement remains comfortable and healthy for occupants.

In addition to controlling ventilation, an ECS may also be programmed to control via other building systems, such as Fire Alarm, shading, HVAC, and lighting systems. coordinating the operation of these systems, an ECS can help to create a safety, more energy-efficient and sustainable building while also improving the comfort and well-being of occupants.
